Account Manager I

The American Red Cross seeks an experienced Account Manager to develop and organize new blood drive opportunities with community businesses, churches, schools, and other sponsors.
As an Account Manager, you will work in the field to recruit and retain sponsor organizations, apply market knowledge to identify areas for market expansion, and recommend overall sponsor recruitment plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing effective strategies to recruit, retain, and manage sponsor organizations to achieve established blood collection goals
- Applying market knowledge and evaluation of community, government, and competitor demographics to identify areas for market expansion
- Coordinating structure, staffing, schedule, and marketing necessary to reach individual drive goals
- Providing ongoing support to sponsors, volunteers, and staff on blood drive protocol, employee ambassador recruitment, and event expectations
- Interacting in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion at all times
