Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Solutions Sales team. As an Account Executive, you will work directly with large shipping clients to ensure we gain, grow, and retain business. This role is responsible for revenue growth within a defined territory and requires strong relationship management skills, industry expertise, and a passion for prospecting and winning new customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase customer base in assigned territory
  2. Outbound prospecting and lead generation
  3. Partner with Solutions Engineers to develop complex solutions
  4. Effectively position Auctane's suite of products and differentiate competitively
  5. Grow an assigned book of business
  6. Annually increase portfolio revenue through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  7. Prepare strategic plans for top customers annually
  8. Introduce upgrades and new features where applicable
  9. Limit managed account churn
  10. Develop multi-layered solutions within accounts
  11. Leverage field presence to add value on-site
  12. Collaborate with Customer Success counterpart
  13. Build strong internal and external customer relationships
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years field sales experience required
  • Minimum of two (2) years relationship management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
