About the Role
As a Multifamily Tax Compliance Specialist at Allied Residential, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with tax credit regulations across our multifamily properties in the Puget Sound region. With a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail, you will be responsible for preparing and distributing monthly annual recertification notices, preparing and completing move-in, interim, annual, and initial certifications, and attending regular meetings and trainings as assigned.

About You
We are looking for an experienced professional with six months to one year of related experience and/or training. You should have a solid understanding and high level of proficiency with Microsoft's Office Suite/Office 365, primarily Outlook, Excel, and Word. Additionally, you should be proficient with remote work platforms and have a working knowledge of industry-specific platforms such as Yard or RealPage.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Travel to assigned communities to assist with compliance for move-in, interim certification, annual certification, and lease-up activities as needed
  • Show prospective apartments, explain occupancy terms and amenities
  • Inform prospective residents of availability of nearby schools, shopping malls, recreational facilities, and public transportation
  • Prepare and distribute monthly annual recertification notices
  • Prepare and complete move-in, interim, annual, and initial certifications
  • Prepare monthly Compliance Reports
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings and trainings as assigned

Benefits and Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$28 per hour, plus excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Full-time employees earn 152 Hours or 19 days of PTO per year, with the ability to carry over up to 80 hours annually. We also provide options for tuition assistance and offer 9 Paid Holidays throughout the year.
