About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Affordable Housing Certification Specialist to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with affordable housing programs and regulations.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in affordable housing programs and layering, regulatory compliance, and rent adjustments. They should be proficient in MS Office, Google Apps, and property management-related software.

Salary and Benefits

Our compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate of $25-$27 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer comprehensive benefits, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with annual certification process and agency reports
  • Conduct applicant/resident certification interviews and gather eligibility documents
  • Maintain positive communication with onsite staff, Portfolio Managers, and Compliance team members
  • Timely update internal tracking systems and respond to queries from supervisors and colleagues
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; college degree preferred
  • Affordable Housing/Tax Credit certification, preferred (C3P, HCCP, HCP-E, COS, TCS, CPO, FHC, NAHP, NAHPe, SCHM, etc.)
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in English
