Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients at the U-Haul center with products and services.
  • Utilize smartphone technology to oversee rentals and inventory.
  • Manage the movement and connection of U-Haul vehicles and trailers.
  • Inspect and clean equipment on-site, including fluid level checks.
  • Address inquiries and educate clients about available products and services.
  • Prepare rental agreements and process returned equipment.
  • Install towing equipment and trailer wiring.
  • Refill propane (certification provided upon employment).
  • Operate a forklift (certification provided upon employment).
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Engage in ongoing training through U-Haul University.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment:
The role involves moderate risks or discomforts that necessitate specific safety measures, such as working near moving machinery or handling irritant substances. Protective gear may be required.

Physical Requirements:
This position demands physical stamina, including prolonged periods of standing, mobility indoors and outdoors, reaching for items at various heights, and handling equipment weighing at least 50 lbs, with or without assistance.
