Facilities Operations Manager

**Job Summary**
ABM Industries is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in operations, critical infrastructure, and leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Provide training and support to operations staff to expand their capabilities and improve performance.
• Direct the performance of contracted maintenance and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement plans to reduce energy and water consumption and track performance.
• Ensure compliance with policy and audit standards for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and manage budgets for operations and maintenance, including forecasting and recommending facility repairs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our facilities are operating at optimal levels.
**Requirements**
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or facilities management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital facility management, plant operations, engineering, or maintenance supervision.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Building Automation System.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including report writing ability.
• Computer proficiency with Google suite and other Google products.
