Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager

Cox Communications is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain all facilities, including retail and administrative spaces, to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance contracts, site cleaning, and energy conservation initiatives to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Develop and implement ROI analysis to inform facility management decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure facility management activities are consistent with company visions and operations.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with company requirements and standards.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and counseling to department members to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategic facility planning and feasibility studies to inform long-term facility needs and goals.
  • Interface with landlords, municipalities, and regulatory authorities to negotiate easements and right-of-way agreements.
  • Develop and manage budgetary life cycle estimates to support facility construction and development initiatives.
  • Respond to emergency situations, evaluate damages, and take necessary steps to protect employees, customers, and property.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in facility management or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in management or a lead role.
  • Valid State-Issued driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong organizational skills, math skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in construction management, project management, or facilities management of staff/projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing staff/projects from remote locations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
