Job Overview

HungryPanda is a leading online food delivery platform, headquartered in London, UK. Our mission is to become the global market-leading platform that enables overseas Chinese businesses in the food industry and connects Chinese food to all consumers who enjoy it.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and partnerships team, you will be responsible for acquiring merchants and assisting them in achieving higher orders and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the foodservice industry and excellent communication skills. You will be fluent in Mandarin and possess at least 1 year of experience in business development or sales roles with customer experience in the foodservice or delivery industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new merchants and assist existing ones in increasing orders and GMV.
  • Negotiate contracts with potential merchants and maintain relationships with cooperating partners.
  • Conduct regular merchant visits, apply for/replace merchant materials, and ensure smooth business operations.
  • Liaise with marketing and delivery operation teams to align strategies and increase GMV.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Mandarin.
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development or sales roles with customer experience in the foodservice or delivery industry.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • High sensitivity to market trends and data.
  • Excellent teamwork ability and commercial acumen.
  • A valid driver's license and a vehicle.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
