Site Operations Manager

Location: Columbus, OH

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on leadership experience in commercial construction; a solid background in mid-sized to large-scale construction projects (valued at $10 million and above) is essential, with a strong preference for managing renovation projects under $5 million.
  • Demonstrable work history and references showcasing outstanding contributions, skills, and integrity.
  • Current OSHA certification (30-hour or 10-hour) is required.
  • Proficient in technology: Skilled in Word, Outlook, Excel, CMiC, PlanGrid, and various other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a professional representative of Calculated Hire, effectively supporting the strategic initiatives of the company.
  • Exhibit extensive knowledge of commercial construction and exceptional site management skills; ensure successful delivery of key projects and commitments through professional expertise and leadership.
  • Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with subcontractors and business partners.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of processes and applications related to building codes, budget management, construction practices, and project scheduling.
  • Guarantee timely project delivery while keeping the team focused on safety, quality, and budget adherence.
  • Thoroughly understand and effectively utilize drawings, specifications, subcontract agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Assist the Project Manager with material delivery schedules and manage the change management process effectively.
  • Take primary responsibility for leading, implementing, and enforcing job site safety protocols and the Quality Assurance Program.
  • Lead and/or assist with job setup, communication, safety compliance, record-keeping, quality control, and project closeout as necessary.
