We are a Michigan family-owned beverage distributor passionate about helping others succeed at work and in the community. As an Account Manager in Training, you will have the opportunity to job shadow and learn from our skilled sales team as you develop your own sales techniques and learn more about the beer, wine, and spirits world.

A Typical Day in the Life

As an Account Manager in Training, your day will be filled with various tasks and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Merchandise product and train on our sales process from Monday-Friday and as needed on the weekends.
  • Job shadow and train with Sales Manager and Account Managers to learn sales techniques from a variety of employees.
  • Cover sales routes for Account Managers and create a sales plan for each account.
  • Sample and learn about products with our suppliers.
  • Volunteer at local festivals and assist with store resets.
  • Work on special projects and stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Sales and beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Live in the assigned market.
  • Have a reliable vehicle.
  • Be flexible to work varying hours to accommodate customer needs and special events.
  • Be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with various types of people.
  • Be able to attain a Michigan Liquor Control Commission license.
  • Be able to lift/carry an average of 30 lbs.
