Position Overview

Troon International is pleased to present an outstanding career opportunity for the role of Group Sales Coordinator. This position is essential in providing administrative support and sales assistance within the group sales department. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize essential office equipment, including computers, calculators, fax machines, and copiers.
  2. Manage the procurement and inventory of office supplies and marketing materials for group sales.
  3. Draft and prepare standard correspondence such as memos, letters, club announcements, group schedules, and reports.
  4. Maintain organized electronic and physical files for group and prospective clients, ensuring efficient record-keeping.
  5. Respond to inquiries from groups and potential clients with precision and promptness.
  6. Foster relationships with local businesses, corporate entities, civic organizations, and charitable groups to promote our event venues.
  7. Maintain positive communication with past clients and follow up on initial outreach to new prospects.
  8. Create a monthly events calendar for department managers to ensure adequate staffing and coordination of special arrangements.
  9. Collaborate with clients to finalize event details, including the sale of branded merchandise and additional golf services.
  10. Assist in disseminating information to members and guests regarding tournaments, large group events, and important dates.
  11. Support group registration processes on event days.
  12. Ensure sufficient inventory of group sales kits and related materials.
  13. Perform various administrative and sales functions during club events.
  14. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of group sales protocols and procedures.
  15. Exhibit regular and dependable attendance.
  16. Execute other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that meets these criteria.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent sitting, talking, and listening; regular walking and standing; occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise levels with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Certificates and Licenses:

No specific certifications required.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in reading and speaking English to effectively perform job duties.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
