Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Front Office Assistant to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a vital member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive patient information. You will also be responsible for handling multiple phone calls and face-to-face conversations with patients and healthcare professionals, using your problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise.

You will work closely with our clinical staff to ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care, and will be responsible for performing various clerical tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and billing.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a medical office setting, including 1 year patient service experience
  • Strong knowledge of basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of medical terminology
Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $15.80 - $23.46 per hour, depending on experience.
