IT User Support Coordinator

As a member of the CGS team, the IT User Support Coordinator will be responsible for managing, tracking, and diagnosing IT systems while ensuring exceptional customer service, effective communication, and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist users with a variety of IT-related issues
  • Install and maintain hardware and software for USAO
  • Physically relocate IT equipment as necessary
  • Manage user accounts effectively
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems
  • Utilize trouble tickets to track and resolve issues
  • Provide training to district users
  • Keep track of IT equipment inventory

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing direct support to end-users for the applications in use, including both phone support and on-site assistance.
  • Some applications may necessitate certification from the software provider.
  • Prior experience in teaching or training related to computer applications, especially database, imaging, or automated litigation support applications, is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the network, telecommunications, and operating systems relevant to the applications being supported is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automated litigation support is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with DOJ office automation environments is beneficial; expertise in government word processing, spreadsheet, and email systems is expected.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Professional telephone etiquette is important. An undergraduate degree is preferred.
