Position Overview:

This role is responsible for providing technical support for hardware and software related to computers, printers, and peripheral devices for internal staff. The position plays a key role in enhancing technical measures to safeguard bank resources and electronic information, adhering to IT policies and procedures across various systems. As a Level I technician, you will engage in smaller tasks while collaborating on larger projects with the team. Senior members will offer guidance and mentorship throughout the process. The key aspects of this role include acquiring knowledge in the domain, welcoming feedback, and striving for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive hardware and software support for computers, printers, and peripheral devices. Assist in the installation and deployment of new technology within the organization.
  • Act as a resource for managing and logging incoming requests to the IT department from internal staff.
  • Support the maintenance of access rights for all internal users in Windows and applications.
  • Ensure timely updates and installations of software and desktop operating systems on personal computers using patch management and imaging tools.
  • Drive documentation efforts and training towards achieving one-call resolution.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams as necessary to complete projects and provide additional support to end users.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new software or hardware updates as required.
  • Complete assigned tasks with guidance and work collaboratively on larger projects, following departmental protocols.
  • Embrace mentorship from senior team members regarding processes and tools.
  • Commit to learning the domain, accepting feedback, and pursuing continuous improvement.
  • Participate in all required departmental and corporate training.
  • Engage actively in team meetings and events.
  • Document work accurately using internal and external systems as per established procedures.
  • Work flexible hours, including rotating shifts, to meet end-user support needs.
  • Provide on-call support on a rotating basis during evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Foster personal connections with customers and employees, addressing them by name whenever possible.
  • Understand and practice the company's customer service standards.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge equivalent to a two-year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Coursework in computer networking and business-related subjects is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft client-based products (e.g., Windows 10, Office 2016), Trend Micro antivirus, and Windows Deployment Services.
  • Intermediate understanding of Active Directory and file/print servers.
  • Strong hardware experience with PCs, printers, and peripherals.
  • Solid grasp of networking principles, including routing and client/server programming.
  • Familiarity with Citrix and VMware technologies.
  • Ability to analyze issues and respond promptly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to work weekends and off-hours as needed to support clients.
