American Farm Bureau Insurance Services, Inc. (AFBIS, Inc.) is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Information Systems team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to assist our staff by diagnosing and resolving software and hardware challenges, managing systems administration, and setting up new workstations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Help Desk tickets by providing technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues in a hybrid work environment.
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting for personal computers and peripheral devices.
  • Identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis for service disruptions and implement preventive measures.
  • Assemble, configure, and deploy new computers.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Keep an accurate inventory of IT assets.
  • Provide recommendations for hardware and software enhancements to optimize performance.
  • Support the development of new systems, networks, and IT initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience in a technical support role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, including Azure, Entra, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Understanding of networking software, hardware, and protocols.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of vulnerability management and software patching strategies.
  • Experience with Intune, SCCM, Ivanti, Co-management, and Windows Autopilot.
  • Proficiency in Apple macOS support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Apple iOS and Android device setup and configuration.

This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least two days a week.

Compensation: The expected starting salary range for this role is between $50,000 and $75,000, with actual pay determined by experience and other job-related factors.
