Program Overview

KBR is engaged in providing agile support for both scheduled and unscheduled U.S. Army training exercises under the LOGCAP NORTHCOM initiative.

Our LOGCAP team has consistently delivered exceptional support to Warfighter operations, executing standard LOGCAP services across multiple locations.

Role Overview


As a Senior Logistics Support Specialist (SOC), your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and formulate Transportation Movement Requests (TMRs) and Transportation Movement Orders (TMOs), along with the logistical strategies, policies, and procedures essential for effective support in supply chain management, transportation, maintenance, and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Propose and organize the logistics support framework to facilitate the logistics operations of the project.


2. Ensure seamless coordination among logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance, and warehousing to provide efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to clients.

3. Identify and troubleshoot logistical challenges, coordinating solutions or recommending resolutions to management.

4. Collaborate with clients to ensure that logistics goals, priorities, and timelines are met and effectively communicated to management.

5. Analyze operational processes and establish performance metrics for evaluation.

6. Liaise with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services departments as necessary regarding logistics operations performed under contract.

7. Monitor all LSO-Trans mission support activities.

8. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

1. Must successfully pass a U.S. Government background investigation and secure a Secret Security clearance, maintaining it throughout employment on this contract. U.S. Citizenship is required for eligibility.

2. A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a High School Diploma with an additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

3. Proven experience with the TMR (Transportation Movement Request) process.

4. Familiarity with the TMO (Transportation Movement Order) process is essential.

5. Experience with Command Post of the Future (CPOF) / Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) is necessary.

6. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, are required.

Compensation

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Base Salary:
$76,300 - $114,400


The offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience, taking into account internal equity.
