Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our information systems by ensuring adherence to cybersecurity policies and procedures. Your expertise will be vital in the implementation and validation of necessary cybersecurity controls, as well as in the continuous monitoring of assigned systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant cybersecurity policies, plans, and procedures.
- Implement and validate required cybersecurity controls, including ongoing monitoring for assigned systems.
- Assist in the development and upkeep of cybersecurity-related plans, procedures, and guidance.
Recognize and report non-compliance, suspicious activities, and potential threats to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Establish plans of action and milestones for addressing vulnerabilities identified through monitoring, audits, and inspections, and oversee necessary corrective measures.
- Conduct role-specific cybersecurity training for designated users.
- Gather, manage, and retain data to fulfill reporting obligations.
- Analyze and correlate data from various sources (e.g., logs, events, activities) to identify and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to cyber incidents and non-compliance, including performing trend analysis and preparing detailed reports for relevant parties.
- Participate in a 24/7 operational support schedule as required.
- Possess a Final Transferable Secret security clearance; last Periodic Reinvestigation must be within the last five (5) years or be enrolled in the Continuous Vetting program.
- Maintain industry certification in accordance with DOD M and DODD for IAT Level II.
- Hold at least one security-specific, industry certification for Computing Environment (e.g., CYSA+, CCNA Security, CEH, CISA) in line with DOD M and DODD.
- Previous experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Information System Security Manager (ISSM), or in a related DoD Cyber Workforce role.
- Experience ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to DoD cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with the system authorization process and associated documentation requirements.
Work Environment:
This role is performed onsite at a designated facility. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of work schedules that offer flexibility to employees, ranging from standard 40-hour weeks to condensed schedules.

The annual base salary range for this position varies based on location and experience. Lockheed Martin offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
