Program Overview

KBR is dedicated to delivering prompt logistical assistance for both planned and unplanned U.S. Army training exercises as part of the LOGCAP NORTHCOM initiative.

Our LOGCAP team has consistently provided essential services at multiple locations, ensuring operational success for Warfighter missions.

Role Overview


As a Senior Logistics Support Specialist (SOC), your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and formulate Transportation Movement Requests (TMRs) and Transportation Movement Orders (TMOs), alongside developing logistical strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance support in supply chain management, transportation, maintenance, and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Propose and organize the logistics support framework to effectively execute project logistics functions.


2. Facilitate collaboration among logistics operations such as transportation, maintenance, and warehousing to guarantee efficient, timely, and cost-effective service delivery to clients.

3. Identify and troubleshoot logistical challenges, coordinating resolutions or suggesting improvements to management.

4. Engage with clients to ensure that logistics goals, priorities, and timelines are met and effectively communicated to management.

5. Assess operational workflows and establish performance metrics for evaluation.

6. Collaborate with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services departments as necessary regarding logistics operations under contract.

7. Monitor all LSO-Trans mission support activities.

8. Execute additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

1. Must successfully complete a U.S. Government background investigation and secure a Secret Security clearance, maintaining it throughout employment on this contract. U.S. Citizenship is required for eligibility.

2. A Bachelor's Degree coupled with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required. Alternatively, a High School Diploma with an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

3. Proficiency in the TMR (Transportation Movement Request) process is essential.

4. Familiarity with the TMO (Transportation Movement Order) process is required.

5. Experience with Command Post of the Future (CPOF) / Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) is necessary.

6. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, is mandatory.

Compensation

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Base Salary:
$76,300 - $114,400


The offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's expertise, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity considerations.
