Position Overview:

Benco Dental is actively seeking a seasoned pricing expert to take on the role of Senior Pricing Strategy Leader. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing and Supply Chain Officer, this position is pivotal in crafting, executing, and refining pricing strategies that enhance revenue and profitability across all distribution channels.

This role necessitates a deep understanding of market dynamics and cost structures prevalent in the distribution sector. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, IT, data analytics, finance, and operations, will be essential to drive pricing decisions that align with overarching business objectives. Additionally, a team of pricing analysts will report to this position.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in data analysis and financial modeling
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and devise solutions to complex challenges
  • Proficient in translating market insights into effective pricing strategies
  • Experience with pricing software, CRM systems, and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis methods, including predictive modeling techniques using tools such as Python, SAS, R, or SPSS
  • Strong understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage large datasets and multiple projects

  • Evaluate pricing risks and opportunities within a diverse portfolio

  • Track pricing performance metrics and modify strategies to meet financial targets
  • Determine optimal pricing for products and services to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Conduct pricing analyses, including elasticity modeling and price sensitivity assessments
  • Collaborate with finance to evaluate pricing impacts on margins and overall financial health
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for key customer segments

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy or finance, ideally within the distribution industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
