Position Overview:
As a Registered Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting radiological examinations and procedures for patients across all age groups. Your role is crucial in ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety during surgical and emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute radiological procedures in the Emergency Department and surgical settings, including trauma cases and various fluoroscopic exams.
2. Ensure the production of high-quality images for accurate interpretation.
3. Maintain a sterile environment and prioritize patient safety throughout the examination process.
4. Provide clear verbal and written instructions to patients and their families regarding procedures.
5. Assist in scheduling patient appointments and manage patient flow effectively.
6. Operate radiography equipment according to established technical specifications.
7. Collaborate with Radiologists and other medical professionals during procedures.
8. Maintain accurate documentation and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing.
- Current state licensure required prior to employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Skills and Experience:
- Minimum one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and related pathologies is essential.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting or assisting with lifting patients of varying weights and handling equipment.
