Position Overview:
As a Certified Radiology Specialist, you will perform essential diagnostic imaging procedures within our radiology department. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality healthcare while collaborating with departmental leadership to meet established objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine radiology examinations in alignment with established protocols.
  • Clearly explain procedures to patients and obtain necessary consent.
  • Consult with radiologists or referring physicians regarding any contraindications.
  • Accurately document patient information, including medical history and allergies.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process.

  • Performing general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Producing high-quality images for accurate interpretation.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate documentation.
  • Addressing equipment malfunctions promptly.

  • Assisting with scheduling and prioritizing patient procedures.
  • Providing mentorship to new hires and students.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
  • A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current state licensure prior to employment.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as the capability to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weights.

Personal Protective Equipment:
Adherence to standard precautions and the use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
