At Loews Atlanta Hotel, we are seeking a highly skilled Lobby Bar Server Assistant to join our dynamic team.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Lobby Bar Server Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest receives top-notch service and has a memorable stay at our hotel.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Stock supplies in all service areas and ensure they are well-stocked and easily accessible.
  • Inspect and prepare all service ware prior to use, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Clear soiled plates, service ware, and other items from service areas and tables, sorting them appropriately for dishwashing.
  • Clean and pre-set tables with all necessary service ware, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Greet guests warmly and assist servers with delivering water and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Remove unneeded place settings from occupied tables, promoting a clutter-free environment.
  • Carry trays of food from the kitchen to the table, providing a seamless delivery experience.
  • May assist servers in presenting meals for large parties and during periods of high volume, ensuring that every guest enjoys their meal.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitary condition of the dining room and service areas, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Assist in completing post-meal cleanup and side work duties, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Notify relevant individuals promptly and fully of any problems or unusual matters requiring attention.
  • Show politeness, friendliness, and helpfulness to guests, management, and fellow team members, always maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Execute emergency procedures according to hotel standards, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
  • Comply with required safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Attend relevant hotel meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work areas, adhering to the highest standards of maintenance and upkeep.
  • Comply with hotel standards, policies, and rules, always acting with integrity and responsibility.
  • Recycle whenever possible, contributing to a sustainable future.
  • Remain current with hotel information and changes, staying informed about new initiatives and developments.
  • Comply with hotel uniform and grooming standards, presenting a professional image at all times.

We offer a competitive salary range of $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development within the company.
