**Job Summary**

The Assistant General Manager is a key member of the iFLY World team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our business. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee all daily operations in the absence of the General Manager or as directed by the Regional Director.
  • Supervise customer service staff, call center, instructors, and other team members.
  • Manage daily flight and staff schedules to ensure maximum occupancy and efficiency.
  • Monitor flight manifests and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Assist with interviewing and training of team members.
  • Partner with other managers to prepare team member reviews, recognition, and disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering of merchandise and supplies.
  • Ensure the safety of operations and ensure team members are following all safety procedures.
  • Manage and maintain daily reporting, including commission reports and POS close outs.
  • Verify cash drops and ensure accurate completion by team members.
  • Help manage budgets and profitability of the tunnel.
  • Ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained.
  • Involved in identifying proactive incentive programs, reward schemes, and team-building events.
  • Assist in short- and long-term sales and marketing strategies and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Recommend and manage product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend enhancements to constantly improve the customer experience.
  • Work with Point of Sale systems and other technology platforms.

  • Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database management, content management systems, and desktop publishing applications.

  • Initiative, detail-orientation, project management, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Tact, discretion, and good judgment to maintain positive relationships with co-workers, clients, and vendors.
