Position Overview:

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a dedicated Training Coordinator to join our Learning & Development (L&D) Team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive administrative support for our training initiatives and the Learning Management System (LMS). The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Offering administrative assistance to the Learning & Development team, encompassing course registration, attendance tracking, certificate management, and training material logistics.
  • Maintaining precise attendance records within the LMS for various training formats, including instructor-led sessions and webinars.
  • Facilitating training assignments for new hires and aiding in the documentation of their training progress.
  • Collaborating with the LMS Administrator to organize and execute company-wide training events.
  • Reviewing and editing training modules, ensuring accuracy in closed captions and transcripts, while showcasing strong written communication skills.
  • Safeguarding confidential information and managing sensitive materials with discretion.
  • Engaging with employees to clarify requests and address any issues that may arise.
  • Responding to inquiries from both students and instructors to resolve concerns effectively.
  • Overseeing compliance with client-specific training requirements and managing the entry of completion data into external systems.
  • Providing support to course instructors to ensure the effective delivery of training programs.
  • Acting as a backup for the LMS Administrator as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) along with one year of relevant professional experience in an administrative role, or an Associate degree (AA) with three years of related experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A solid understanding of administrative policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong client service orientation and proofreading capabilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in standard American English.
  • A valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
