Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing sales and profit margin by managing existing customers, developing and broadening relationships with distributors, contractors, and design professionals. They will also maintain awareness of market pricing, product innovations, competitive product lines, and market trends that may impact their territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
- Communicate effectively with regional sales managers and directors on market developments
- Promote and display products at trade shows and customer events
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity
- Travel to customer sites and trade shows as required
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years' experience in sales, preferably in the construction and building materials industry. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
