Job Overview

Enliven Planters is a forward-thinking subscription gardening service that enhances the beauty of homes and businesses through seasonal arrangements delivered quarterly. We are currently in search of 4 dedicated individuals to join our Facilities Team, focusing on maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Position Summary

The Facilities Laborer is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the daily operations of the property as directed by the Property Manager. In addition to routine tasks, you will be expected to assist wherever necessary within the facility.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a five-day schedule from 10 AM to 6 PM, with availability required on Saturdays. During peak seasons, occasional Sunday hours may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize various hand and power tools effectively.
  • Assist the Property Manager with ongoing maintenance and repairs.
  • Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles as needed.
  • Transport large items within the facility, including furniture and supplies.
  • Manage vegetation trimming and debris clearance around the property, including storm drains.
  • Perform painting, masonry work, landscaping, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Replace light bulbs, HVAC filters, and other facility supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of refuse areas.
  • Handle snow and ice removal during winter weather conditions.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Property Manager, which may involve operating a motorized vehicle.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical capability to handle tools, construction materials, and plant matter.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 80 lbs, and push/pull up to 100 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working near various types of vegetation.
  • Ability to perform a range of physical activities including climbing, kneeling, and balancing.
  • Visual acuity for tasks requiring depth perception and field of vision.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely climb ladders and navigate roofs when necessary.
  • Effective communication skills with the Property Manager.
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities within the role.

If you possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, you may be an excellent fit for our organization. While prior experience is not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds in landscaping, nursery work, greenhouse labor, or warehousing. This position offers a rewarding outdoor alternative to traditional roles.
