Position Overview

Fusco Personnel Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Renewable Energy Projects to play a pivotal role in advancing our client's mission to combat climate change and facilitate the shift towards a sustainable energy future. Key Responsibilities
  • Specification Development: Lead the creation and refinement of functional specifications necessary for monitoring, verifying, and settling Tier 4 contracts.
  • Process Oversight: Supervise the development of business processes, database management, and IT architecture for the Tier 4 verification system.
  • Data Integration: Influence the design and architecture to support new data processes and their integration with existing tools.
  • Strategic Evaluation: Assess scenarios to guide the State's strategic approach to Tier 4 implementation, considering long-term benefits, risks, and alignment with organizational policies.
  • Requirements Translation: Convert high-level business and user requirements into detailed functional specifications, ensuring quality control.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate teamwork and consensus among cross-functional teams, management, and external consultants to reach critical decisions.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage competitive solicitations, oversee bid evaluations, awards, and implementation.
  • Monitoring: Track project progress, evaluate risks, and establish mitigation strategies to maintain schedules.
  • Implementation Planning: Assist in the development of the Tier 4 Implementation Plan and oversee monthly verification and REC settlement processes.
Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience.

Preferred: Master's degree with 5 years of experience in Data Science, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, IT project management, or a related technical field.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proficiency in software coding languages such as Python and R.
  • Experience in software development including requirements definition, design, data migration, and testing.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate information and reconcile conflicts.
  • Project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple complex activities.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
Additional Qualifications

Experience in evaluating near-real-time energy production data and familiarity with Independent System Operators and wholesale energy markets is advantageous. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and experience in renewable plant asset management is preferred. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
