Account Development Manager

As an Account Development Manager at McGraw-Hill Education, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding market penetration. About the Job
This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage and support a designated territory and customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to attain and surpass sales goals by working on various sales-oriented tasks as directed by the Inside Sales Manager or Inside Sales Vice President.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Performance: Develop and execute strategies to advance sales and build strong relationships with customers.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with McGraw-Hill PreK-12 Programs and understand customer needs to provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Communication: Communicate effectively internally and externally to influence sales outcomes.
- Customer Outreach: Perform targeted customer outreach via phone and email to build and maintain the pipeline.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree or 3 years' education and/or sales experience. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Salesforce CRM is essential. Prior experience working in the educational publishing space is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $70,000 per year, based on location and experience. You will also receive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
