Account Manager I

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a defined geographic region, focusing on meeting sales revenue objectives while maintaining and building customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technical staff to ensure thorough understanding of product portfolios.
- Develop sales programs to achieve budgeted sales volume.
- Meet regularly with assigned customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues.
- Focus on prospecting new business opportunities while growing and developing existing accounts.
- Manage accounts and add new accounts to CRM, ensuring accurate and current data.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Life Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Additional years of experience can substitute for a degree.
- A minimum of three years of sales experience managing multiple geographic regions.
- Industrial sales and/or academic sales preferred.
