Account Manager I

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a defined geographic region, focusing on meeting sales revenue objectives while maintaining and building customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and technical staff to ensure thorough understanding of product portfolios.
  • Develop sales programs to achieve budgeted sales volume.
  • Meet regularly with assigned customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues.
  • Focus on prospecting new business opportunities while growing and developing existing accounts.
  • Manage accounts and add new accounts to CRM, ensuring accurate and current data.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Life Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Additional years of experience can substitute for a degree.
  • A minimum of three years of sales experience managing multiple geographic regions.
  • Industrial sales and/or academic sales preferred.
