BMO Financial Group, a leader in North American banking, is seeking a seasoned Lead Business Relationship Professional to drive business growth and development.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Business Development Director, responsible for leading business development and relationship management initiatives for our commercial banking segment.
Key Responsibilities- Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new clients, cross-selling Bank products and services, and expanding existing relationships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that meet or exceed business targets.
Qualifications
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing key client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and negotiate with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions.
- Influence skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and persuade stakeholders to support business initiatives.
We offer a competitive salary range of $87,000.00 - $161,400.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
