Position Overview
*Oversee, direct, and manage the overall operations, coordination, and delivery of nursing and patient/resident care for a designated nursing unit.
*Ensure that the delivery of patient/resident care aligns with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Genesis HealthCare, adhering to accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
*Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients within the assigned nursing unit.
*Manage human resources within the unit, including minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage, recruiting and orienting new staff, evaluating nursing staff performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications:*Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, college, or university.
*Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.Additional Information
