Position Overview:
As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes, and maintaining satisfaction among patients, residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the overall operations and coordination of nursing and patient/resident care within an assigned unit.
  • Ensure care delivery aligns with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Genesis HealthCare, adhering to accepted standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Manage human resources within the unit, including minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage, recruiting and orienting new staff, assessing nursing staff performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications:
