Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibility will be to deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing pre and post-surgical procedures, including total joint replacements, bariatric, orthopedic, and general surgeries. This role is situated in a dynamic, team-oriented environment that allows you to refine your nursing expertise and advance towards critical care in a Level 2 Trauma Center.

  • You will be responsible for administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Our nursing staff will document and communicate patient conditions as necessary using computerized documentation systems.
  • Recognizing and addressing changes in a patient's condition, such as post-operative bleeding, pain management, and complications from anesthesia, will be a key aspect of your role.
  • You will collaborate with care providers, patient families, and physicians to coordinate patient discharge planning.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or a valid compact state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
