At Parkland Medical Center, our nursing professionals are integral to our commitment to exceptional healthcare. We are currently seeking a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse for our Float Pool team.
Role Responsibilities:
The Float Pool RN is expected to demonstrate autonomy in planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating patient care in alignment with the NH Nurse Practice Act and established clinical and administrative protocols.
Key Duties Include:
- Providing care across various units including ICU, Emergency Department, Intermediate Care, and Medical/Surgical Units.
- Administering medications safely to the adult patient population.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting all aspects of patient care.
- Coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Educating patients and families with culturally appropriate care.
- Mentoring and orienting new staff members.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.
