Position Overview:
As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes, and enhancing satisfaction for patients, residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee the overall operations and coordination of nursing and patient/resident care within the assigned unit.
* Ensure that care delivery aligns with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Genesis HealthCare, adhering to accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
* Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for patients in the designated nursing unit.
* Manage human resources within the unit, including minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage, recruiting and orienting new staff, evaluating nursing staff performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
