Position OverviewAs a Unit Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of exceptional care while achieving favorable clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct the comprehensive operations, coordination, and management of nursing and patient care within a designated unit.
  • Guarantee that care delivery aligns with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Oceanside Center, adhering to accepted standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to secure optimal outcomes for patients in the assigned unit.
  • Manage human resources within the unit, including minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage, recruiting and orienting new staff, evaluating nursing staff performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
