Job Overview

The Food Service Attendant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing and serving food items. This position requires adherence to food safety standards, handling procedures, and sanitation protocols. Responsibilities may differ based on specific client needs and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities


• Warmly welcomes and assists all patrons

• Takes and processes food orders efficiently

• Prepares and assembles food items following established recipes and guidelines

• Ensures proper food storage in compliance with safety regulations

• Organizes workstations, including preparation areas and service counters

• Cleans and sanitizes work areas after service

• Serves food to guests, ensuring satisfaction and anticipating their needs

• Restocks food items to maintain adequate supply levels

• Upholds excellent service standards with a friendly and positive attitude towards guests and colleagues

• Follows safety protocols and sanitation practices diligently

• Safeguards company assets

• Operates a cash register and processes guest payments

• Balances cash register with sales and inventory

• Complies with alcohol service policies where applicable

• Performs additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications


• Previous experience in food service is advantageous

• Ability to obtain food safety certification is required

• Strong guest service skills are essential

• Must be capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 lbs.

• Compliance with state age regulations for alcohol service may be necessary

• Certification in TIPS/TEAM may be required at locations serving alcohol

• Completion of Serve Safe Food Handlers certification may be needed

• Experience in guest service is a plus

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred
