  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food presentation standards to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage to establish budget goals, monitor financial performance, and develop effective cost controls.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have a positive and memorable dining experience.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, menu innovations, and culinary techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing to optimize profitability and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including food safety, sanitation, and labor laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Director of Food and Beverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef Assistant or similar role in a high-volume food service environment.
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other duties as required.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be Serv-Safe certified or become certifiable within 180 days.
