Reservations Specialist for Spa Services

POSITION OVERVIEW

Manage all reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations received through various communication channels including phone, fax, or mail. Assess guest reservation requirements and recommend suitable room types. Confirm the availability of room categories and pricing. Clarify guarantee, special pricing, and cancellation policies to callers. Facilitate and document unique requests. Respond to inquiries regarding property amenities and room options. Employ sales strategies to optimize revenue. Enter and retrieve information in the reservation system. Classify special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by entering the appropriate codes and rates into the reservation system. Adhere to proper escalation protocols when addressing guest issues.

Abide by all organizational policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and colleagues. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and respond to guests' service requirements; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests with sincere appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer phones with appropriate etiquette. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving shared objectives; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Execute other reasonable job responsibilities as directed by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No prior related work experience required.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience necessary.

License or Certification: None required.

The compensation range for this role is $20.00 per hour and includes health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan, accrued paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and various wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to general eligibility criteria, waiting periods, contributions, and other requirements.
