Position Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that guest accommodations are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Housekeeping Attendant, your duties will include:

  • Daily changing of bed linens to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Vacuuming carpets to ensure a clean environment.
  • Dusting all surfaces, including furniture and electronic devices.
  • Removing smudges and fingerprints from mirrors and windows.
  • Thoroughly cleaning bathroom facilities, including sinks, showers, and toilets.
  • Ensuring compliance with standard room setup procedures.
  • Reporting any damages or missing items found in guest rooms.
  • Notifying the Executive Housekeeper of any rollaways or cribs that require storage.
  • Safeguarding the pass key and ensuring its return at the end of each shift.
  • Promptly turning in all lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Communicating with the Executive Housekeeper regarding:
    • Guest luggage status
    • Service requirements
    • Occupancy changes
    • Any unusual occurrences
  • Turning off all lights and appliances when exiting rooms.
  • Assisting fellow housekeeping staff with additional cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong reasoning abilities to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math skills for handling figures and calculations.
  • The capability to read and interpret business documents.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Lift and move items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
  • Visually distinguish details in the work environment.

Work Environment:

This role is primarily indoors, with exposure to temperature variations. Candidates must be able to work effectively under pressure, communicate well with guests and team members, and adapt to frequent changes in tasks.
