Job Summary

The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of pastry products in our hotel's kitchen. This role requires a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of pastry products, including desserts, bread, and pastries.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Lead and motivate a team of pastry cooks to ensure excellent service and quality.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food products.
Requirements
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Working Conditions

This role requires long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Executive Pastry Chef must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
