Job Summary: The Food and Beverage Operations Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager, is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a premier senior living establishment.

This role requires exceptional communication abilities, multitasking skills, strong leadership, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality food and beverage service along with excellent customer care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, train, manage, and develop staff
  • Oversee budget management and inventory control
  • Train and supervise beverage service
  • Assist with catering events related to meal services
  • Establish beverage programs and seasonal offerings
  • Procure alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams on the culinary program
  • Maintain positive relationships with staff, clients, and production teams
  • Work with vendors to optimize cost efficiency
  • Coordinate with venue managers to maximize attendance and staffing outcomes
  • Manage financial aspects of premium bar and concession operations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in team management with strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency, self-motivation, and planning capabilities
  • Ability to manage large inventories and budgets effectively
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Quick decision-making skills with a desire to lead
  • Creativity paired with attention to detail
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the business and market trends
  • Experience in finance, loss prevention, and human resources
  • Preferred educational background in management, particularly in the beverage sector
  • Certification in service training, alcohol service, safe food handling, and first aid
  • Familiarity with state and local alcohol regulations
  • Certification from the National Bar & Restaurant Management Association
  • Open to working a schedule driven by events
