About the Role

The Montana Lottery is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our employees, retailers, players, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting issues related to our website and Player's Club.
  • Participate in statewide Lottery promotional events and activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on all ongoing game changes, activities, and equipment.
  • Explain payout percentages, game play, and bonus play functions to customers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of job-related work experience or an alternate combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of office equipment, including computers, fax machines, calculators, mail postage machines, and printers.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and exercise professional discretion and decision-making capabilities.
