Role Overview: The Senior Patient Care Associate plays a vital role in delivering essential patient support under the supervision of nursing personnel, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients at all times.

Facility Information: CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-South is strategically located to serve the growing community, offering a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services. The facility is equipped with 158 licensed beds, catering to diverse healthcare needs.

Services Offered: The hospital provides an extensive array of services, including but not limited to pediatrics, obstetrics, skilled nursing, emergency care, intensive care, as well as advanced diagnostic and imaging capabilities. Notably, it features a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, allowing mothers to stay close to their premature or special needs infants during recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to patient inquiries and assisting with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Supporting nutritional needs by feeding patients and accurately measuring and documenting their food and fluid intake.
- Monitoring vital signs, including temperature and blood pressure, and promptly reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assisting healthcare professionals with medical procedures and wound care.

Qualifications:
- Preferred: National PCT Certification (which includes Phlebotomy and EKG).

Work Schedule: This position is offered on a per diem basis, as needed.
