Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into property claims, determining liability and gathering necessary information.
- Review coverage details, arrange appraisals, and facilitate the settlement of claims.
- Support the Claims Division's objective of delivering exceptional customer service and collaborate with agencies to ensure a seamless claims experience.
- Operate in the field, managing homeowner property claims while reporting to the Property Claim Manager. A company vehicle will be provided for this role.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in property field adjusting, a valid P&C license, and familiarity with Xactimate.

Compensation
The compensation range for this position is between $62,000 and $101,000 annually. Please note that compensation may vary based on job level and geographic location.

Primary Duties
1. Investigate the origin and cause of claims by engaging with relevant parties, including insured individuals, claimants, agents, and legal representatives.
2. Identify complex issues and seek assistance as needed, ensuring claims are handled in good faith.
3. Manage both first-party and third-party claims across various policy types and endorsements.
4. Conduct on-site inspections when necessary, assess damages, and negotiate claims with insured parties, claimants, and attorneys.
5. Address customer inquiries, make informed decisions, and close claims files.
6. Interpret and apply policy details, leases, by-laws, and contract coverages to assigned losses.
7. Provide proactive updates to all parties regarding the claims process and status, addressing questions or redirecting as appropriate.

Required Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in delivering customer-focused solutions and support.
- Proven track record in handling first-party and third-party multi-line claims across various territories or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverages.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the claim handling process and its various phases.

Licensing Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required, along with an acceptable driving record.
- Candidates must obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as required.

Travel Expectations
- Up to 50% travel may be required.
- Catastrophe duty may require up to 75% travel as applicable.

Physical Demands
- Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and other structures.
- Capability to navigate various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
- Must be able to adjust or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions
- Exposure to varying temperatures and outdoor elements.
- Ability to work in noisy environments and potentially hazardous conditions.
