Key Responsibilities
As a Property Claims Field Adjuster, you will:

  • Investigate and manage property claims by determining liability, gathering information, reviewing coverage, coordinating appraisals, and settling claims.
  • Support the Claims Division's objective of delivering exceptional customer service while collaborating with agencies to ensure a seamless claims experience.
  • Work in the field handling homeowner property claims, reporting directly to the Property Claim Manager, with a company-provided vehicle.

Qualifications
We prefer candidates with:

  • Prior experience in property field adjusting.
  • A valid Property & Casualty license.
  • Familiarity with Xactimate software.

Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $62,000 to $101,000 annually, with variations based on job level and geographic location.

Essential Skills and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in providing customer-focused solutions and support.
  • Proficiency in handling both first-party and third-party claims across various policy types.
  • A solid understanding of casualty coverage policies and endorsements.
  • Knowledge of the complete claims handling process.

Licensing Requirements
Applicants must have:

  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • The ability to obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as required.

Travel and Physical Requirements
This role may require:

  • Up to 50% travel, with potential catastrophe duty up to 75%.
  • Physical tasks such as ascending or descending ladders, navigating tight spaces, and moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions
Adjusters may encounter:

  • Variable temperatures and outdoor elements.
  • Potentially hazardous conditions and noisy environments.
