Job Description:

Director of Maintenance

Medical Facilities of America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors, and implementing efficient maintenance practices to reduce operating expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure that all expenses are properly documented and accounted for.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that maintenance needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to maintenance and facilities management.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare or similar industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance staff and budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, including preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
