Director of Maintenance Operations

The Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance Operations to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical systems.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and direct the work of maintenance staff, including training and development of subordinates.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to and resolve emergency situations, including equipment failures and facility damage.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
