Industrial Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Development Manager to join our team at Applied Industrial Technologies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and developing new leads
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
Requirements:
- 1+ year of outside industrial sales experience or 2+ years of customer service/inside sales experience in industrial supply/distribution
- Ability to develop new business and build repeat customer relationships
- Mechanical aptitude, self-starter with a strong desire to succeed, and sense of humor
- Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
- Computer skills and knowledge, including Excel
