Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to drive business development for our Heavy Haul Division in the Longview, Texas region. This role will focus on generating new business, managing client relationships, and expanding the company's presence in the heavy haul trucking and oversized load transportation market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow the heavy haul customer base within the Longview, Texas region and surrounding areas.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on sectors that rely on heavy haul and oversized load transportation, such as oil and gas, energy, and infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any business needs or challenges.
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, and cold calls to generate leads and secure new contracts.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery, meeting customer specifications and deadlines.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms, balancing customer needs with company profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events, building brand awareness and fostering new business opportunities.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business development efforts using CRM software.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support targeted campaigns and promotions aimed at driving business growth.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the Heavy Haul Division.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or heavy haul industry.
  • Proven experience with heavy haul trucking, rig moving, and oversized load transportation (required).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-driven, with a strong ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the Longview, Texas region and surrounding areas for client meetings.
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas, energy, and construction sectors in East Texas (preferred).
